The spring musical has been announced! We will be doing Brooklyn: The Musical. This is exciting because it is the first production outside of the Broadway show and the tour. More details to come!

I heard you got a new acting teacher in the MT dept, and he is supposed to be awesome! Sounds like the BW program is moving into the "big time". How exciting....can't wait until audition weekend for my D, to see what you have there.

Yes he is wonderful! And because of him, the acting coursework is being completely rehauled. He has already done wonders for those of us who have gone through class with him. BW is truely going through it's golden age right now, and everyone here should seriously consider auditioning.

The Break Up Notebook: The Lesbian Musical

It "examines a year in the life of the recently dumped Helen Hill. With her family of friends by her side she encounters: two-stepping 12-steppers, Paxil-popping lawyers, dental dams, grrrl bands, hot girl on girl action, and maybe…just maybe… the girl of her dreams."

Great article about Phantom! We were always impressed with BW.

Elon is the other MT college program that was chosen to do Phantom this year, and that show opens in about a month!
