| MTgrlsmom: I feel very lucky. I have some hard choices to make, but I am so grateful to have those choices. Your daughter has had a great audition season as well. Good luck to her. |

| So, have all of the acceptances gone out? It seems like so many people were contacted. I haven't heard anything from BW yet, but I'm starting to think I got rejected. Actually, I'm having the same problem with another school I applied to. Everyone's hearing/being called, and I haven't heard anything either way. Have all the letters/calls gone out yet? |

| I wish I knew that answer too kaitrin.
Apparently there have been some waitlist sent out too.
I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing. |

| Kaitrin. Unfortunately I do not work in admissions so I'm not sure how they're contacting people about acceptances/waitlist/rejections. I hope you hear soon though, this is a very stressful time. |

| My d got a letter from B-W today. She is on their waitlist. This was her favorite school so I am not sure how she is going to take it. She is at a show tonight. I read it by holding it up to a lightbulb...I couldn't help it...I was going crazy. Congratulations to all who received an acceptance letter! |

| BWMT09, can you help me out here? A mom from the October 27th audition has been saying the Conservatory Admissions people told her there were 8 accepted from that audition, 8 denied and the remaining 20 was THE wait list. Obviously, that's not true, since people are being wait listed now. Previously, you stated 12 would be chosen from 20 original offers with a 20 person wait list, one in back of each of the 20 different personalities. Is it safe to say then the information that mother was alleging " because she's knows people in the school" was wrong and the October 27 wait list was not 20 people, let alone THE 20 people?

| Happymom08, are you saying that this person said that 20 people from the oct audition were waitlisted and were the only ones waitlisted from all of the auditions? That is not true, neither are the other numbers she told you. The waitlist comprises all of the audition dates. I'm not sure where she got her information from, but I worked that audition day and know none of those numbers are correct. I hope this helped. If not let me know. |

| BWMT09, yes, it helps a lot, because we really did't think that could be true...but this 'stage mom' was so insistent and said she got it right from Conservatory Admissions because she knew people there..

Reason: to take out possible identifying indicator for "stage mom"

| Hey BWMT09,
I have been waitlisted, and I guess my only question is, is there anything I can do as a transfer to "help things along." what I mean is, is there anything, anything at all that I can do to make them consider me? This sounds very desperate, and maybe it is. I know you "Cast your class" so its hard to say, but is there anything I can do to show truly how much I am will to do to get into this program. As of right now, its is my last hope for a musical theater school. And, man, am I pulling for this program. I guess you could call it my only chance, and I'm will to do anything and everything to be a part of this program. |

| yogaguy28, congrats on getting on waitlist. Unfortunately there is no strategic method to getting off the waitlist. The only thing I can recommend is sending a letter or email to conservatory admissions expressing you thanks for being put on the waitlist. Perhaps that might help.
Mary C, the waitlist at BW is a tricky process. Normally we accept around 20 people in hopes of a freshman class of about 12-14. Normally we will waitlist people who we believe have to ability to succeed in the business but there may not be room for them in the program. What this means is either we have accepted someone who is very similar in type already for the freshmen class or there are too many of that type in the program at the moment. If less then the 12-14 accept we will normally go to the waitlist. Everyone on the waitlist is weighed equally, so it just depends on who doesn't accept and what certain types vicky wants in the class. Does this help? |

| You know what, forget about that last post. I know that if there is a spot and they want me, they'll tell me, I know the whole "Casting" thing, so I suppose theres really nothing to do.
My NEW questions is, how should i go about contacting BW if I don't get in and I just want to go to the school in general? |

| If I were to send something, would it be better to send it directly to Vicky, or the conservatory in general? |
