No actual prior experience here, but I would suggest to send it to Vicky and reiterate why you feel you would be the right fit for the program.
I am a believer in addressing those letters, rather than them being "to those concerned" in the admissions department. If anything, I am sure Vicky will appreciate you reaching out to her.
yogaguy, send an email to the conservatory addressing it to vicky, i am sure she will get it. also, for just going to BW something other than MT i would contact the college admissions office Baldwin-Wallace - Admission at B-W
If we're taken off the waiting list will the admissions office contact us? Or should we try to call them to find out?
It's just a question out of curiousity.
At any school, if you are taken off a waiting list, they notify you and it is best to not keep calling. If on the waitlist, you can send a letter updating them about yourself and discuss your interest in attending should a spot open up. Often spots do not open up until after May 1, the National Reply Date. It is possible they might have enough who decline the offer prior to then and have a slot open up sooner but often wait list movement happens after May 1 at most colleges, if any movement at all.
I'm planning on auditioning for B-W musical theatre next fall-does anyone know what the application deadlines are for students wishing to audition as soon as possible ?
theatregirlx0x0, I believe that applications must be in at least 2 weeks before the audition date. The fall audition date should be around the end of Oct/beginning of Nov. The BW application is really easy so I recommend just getting it out of the way in Aug or Sept no matter when your audition is.
hey i posted this in another room but i was just accepted into the summer intensive program nd i just ant to know if sumone can tell me what to expect or nething u guys no
