Area Hotels?

For those of us planning on coming for the MT workshop/audition at the end of October, do any of you have any suggestions for lodging near the campus that would be reasonable and comfortable? I will also do my own researching but if anyone has first hand experience or suggestions that would be very helpful!!!

Thank you!!

We stayed at a Marriott Residence Inn which is about a mile from campus. It was very nice and although we had checked out on the morning of the audition, they were perfectly pleasant about having us enjoy the lobby/restaurant space for most of the day while D was auditioning at BW!

I too have stayed at the Residence Inn. They have a B-W rate of $79 for a studio suite with 2 Queens, full kitchen, living area and bath. It came in really handy to have all the space when we were moving our D in for the year. They also have a full complimentary breakfast each morning. I have also stayed across the street at the Hampton Inn for about the same price, but prefer the RI b/c of the kitchen and extra space.

B-W: Area Hotels and Motels

All of the ones that say Middleburg Heights are along the same strip - just off 71, and probably not more than 2 miles from campus.

The Comfort Inn is right across the street from the Residence Inn and it is nice and also has a shuttle to and from the airport and to and from B-W, which makes it convenient. If you do not want to rent a car this might be the best option for you and there are several restaurants within walking distance to the Comfort Inn as well. I believe their rate is a little less expensive than the Residence Inn, at around $56/night. In that same area is the Hampton Inn, on Engle Rd. My daughter and I stayed there last year when she auditioned. It was around $60/night. The Hampton has shuttle service to and from the airport but not to the school. The other hotels that are close would be the Courtyard Marriott, on Engle Rd, The Plaza Hotel, also on Engle, and Studio Plus Hotel, on Rosbough Dr. I have not stayed at any of these last 3. Be sure and ask for the B-W rate, which will be cheaper. All of these hotels are within a 5-10 minute drive to B-W.
