My name is Bill jenkins and I am the Department Chair of Theatre and Dance at ball State University. I am a recent member to this "Discussion Board" and I am happy to offer insight about the Musical Theatre Program at ball State, as well as any questions folks may have as they apply to Theatre programs across the country.
Ball State's Music Theatre program is very rigorous. We accept 18 students per year which accounts for approximately 12-15% of those who audition. We currently have a BA/BS program but will be implementing a new BFA in the fall of 2008. We currently offer Showcases in LA, NY, and Chicago. For more info, please visit <www.bsu.edu/theatre>.
