how selective?

how selective is bard in terms of admisson i haven't really seen good stats anywhere in terms of selectvity anyone have a link to the CDS?

32% admission rate. This may be a bit deceptive though. It appears that a good deal of the incoming freshmen are accepted either IDP or EA. They accept the vast majority of their IDP applicants (who are highly qualified -son had all sats in 700s) and half of IDPs attend. So there are probably several hundred fewer spots available for "regular admission". Stats from collegeboard.com:

63% in top 10th of graduating class

85% in top quarter of graduating class

99% in top half of graduating class


25% had h.s. GPA of 3.75 and higher

31% had h.s. GPA between 3.5 and 3.74

30% had h.s. GPA between 3.25 and 3.49

13% had h.s. GPA between 3.0 and 3.24

1% had h.s. GPA between 2.5 and 2.99
