No, but I am certainly waiting. Despite a large financial aid package from another school that I love, I will not be sending the deposit in until I hear from Bard. Eh.

Bard Acceptances

I applied to Bard Early action and got my acceptance in January. They mail the acceptances, and it comes in a very thin envelope, so dont be alarmed at the thin envelope. I am now waiting to see if they gave me any financial merit aid, but I am not hopeful. I applied for the EEC program (state tuition , but I am number 10 in class ranking, so I doubt I will get that ) Any one lese apply for EEC, if so did you hear anything? good luck to all those waiting.

thin envelope

I would echo the thin envelope comment. My son applied to the Immediate Decision Program and was notified of his acceptance via a very thin #10 envelope. We actually haven't heard a single word from Bard since then, three months ago. It is one of several schools that S is considering but they do not use a hard-sell approach!

Can someone describe this envelope? When you say "thin," do you mean not thick, or do you mean thin as in having great length but little height? Is it a nice envelope or a crappy one?

#10 Envelope

My S received notice in a #10 envelope, nothing special. A #10 holds a letter sized document folded twice...it is your standard-sized business envelope...and it is usually used to send rejection or waitlist letters! Bard is tricky!!!

I dunno, my RD acceptance last year was in a very fat envelope. It was on the latish end, I think, a few days into April.
The rejection from the Bard Conservatory, which rendered the College acceptance and scholarship irrelevant, came in a very thin envelope, about 1 month later than initially expected...

you got a scholarship form Bard, what kidn did they give you. I am still waiting to hear from Bard in terms of financial aid. did anyone hear aboutteh EEC program. It seems like Bard gives very little in merit aid, that is why I ask about the kind of scholarship you received from them. Has anyone heard about the EEC schol. yet.
