RD applicants: have you heard back yet?

If you applied regular decision to Bard, have you received anything in the mail yet?

My son just got a letter from the tennis coach encouraging him to consider playing. We're laughing about it as he's so not a serious tennis player. Still, it's nice to get mail!

The only thing I've received from them was a breif letter stating that they would be reviewing my application in the upcomming weeks.

I don't think they write very much. My son was admitted EA, and has not heard a peep since! His other two EA schools have been inundating him with material.

Maybe there's a paper shortage, lol. Kind of strange.

When I got in EA I got a short letter. A month or so later I got a letter saying they needed something additional for financial aid.

Everyone talks about the huge packets they get when they get accepted other places, but Bard only sends a small letter. Weird.

It's especially wierd considering that they are a college known for their writing program. Slightly ironic!

I think they send out those odd emails about athletic teams just so they can track your comments on CC....I'm joking! My D got one about a sport she's never played, never listed on her ECs, though it would be funny to watch her try.

I won't say what sport because someone might be reading this....
