| mn44, bard is not my number one school, it is my number one and a half. i am keeping things practical. i cannot tell you nervous i am. i applied to bard, completely on a last minute whim. i got bronchitis/tonsilitis at the end of october, and because i am crazy, i decide not to rest or take it easy but apply to bard and even put together a literary magazine of my writing. bard, for me, out of my college choices, is the way too cool kid that everyone around him admires. ugh. |

| ewwww a massive workload on top of being sick...not fun. i had a difficult time as it was trying to get my app together!! haha
well, bard's my top chioce, and i'm also incredibly nervous! my best friend goes to bard, and so i recently spent a weekend there. it was amazing. after that visit, i knew bard was right for me. though, i'm sort of mad that i did go because, now, if i do get rejected, i'll be really depressed. hah but c'est la vie... i guess...
fingers crossed!

| aww, i wish you the best of luck, mn44! i have never visited bard, however i have always had puppy love for bard since i attended bard college at simon's rock young writers' workshop sophomore year, which was modelled after bard's workshop in language and thinking which is incredibly awesome!! anyway, i am really trying hard not to think of all of this. it is so hard. |

| so today, i was walking home from school, actually slid down a bit on the hill, and i get to my house, realize i forgot the keys, ring the bell, to realize that parents are not home. i was locked out. it didn't help that none of the mail in the mailbox was anything of importance. it would have been the perfect moment for an acceptance letter though.... i am freezing, 32 degree weather, locked out, with an acceptance in my hand, screaming. but of course, this is just too good to come true. haha. |
