New York City?

I love the school but also love the city. Do student visit the city often? Is it easy to do so if one chooses?

About 1.5 hours by train from Poughkeepsie. The reliability of Bard's shuttle busses to the train station is somewhat questionable though it doesn't seem to deter my daughter from visiting as the spirit moves her.
