From a selectivity standpoint I think Wesleyan wins out, if that means anything. Obviously it comes down to fit. Do the leg work and research each school.
Like FishS said, Wes is clearly a "better" school in the eyes of the public. But if financial considerations enter the picture, things become murkier. (I have to choose between a full scholarship at Bard and paying $10k a year plus loan and campus employment at Oberlin, for example, and it's a really difficult decision.)
wmgan: That is a tough decision. It seems to me that the two schools are comparable enough that it wouldn't be worth 10k a year plus loan and work study. I'm not sure if the difference in education is worth that much. Just my thoughts, good luck wherever you go.
