Bard's Supplemental Essay

Much like the universal supplemental essay to the Common App, Bard's singular essay choice does not list any sort of word limit -- just that you write an essay on one of Options A-D and send it to them in the mail. I don't want to be too tedious with it (my choice of topic is one that I could argue on for ten or fifteen pages), but I was wondering whether it should be limited to 500-800 words, like the other essay, or whether it is okay to make it longer. The graded paper that you send in with it is limited to five pages, but I doubt that an admissions officer wants to read ten pages by the same person.

Help?

Thanks in advance.

I'd keep it like the other essay, 500-800 words.
