Not the city person either but dont want to be so far away from the city though.

I visited bard once. It's just so adorable. it's a place to think and it means that seriously.
Monday it is now...I really hope to get the good news today!

hey guys!
I have yet to have received an email notification... I got the letter last week. Good luck to all of you! And yeah I live on the East Coast so I'm sure the others are taking longer to arrive due to your locations

I'm pretty sure it was standard mail... I'm not positive though... I'm still at school so my parents got the letter while I was here. It came in a standard envelope size (I think its about 4 1/8 in x 9 1/2 in). That's why I was so shocked when I found out what was IN the envelope! I don't really know what the whole email deal is though...

hey fromaradio

I called the admission office later today, oh nah, yesterday. Mr. Greg (I guess he is the transfer director?) told me they are sending all the notifications by mail this week. However I didnt have the courage to ask if the mail being sent out later on are denied notifications or not... If you do have the concern and such courage, try it.
Bard is my dream school. cant imagine the bad news any more, I will just hope for the best in case that I would have schizoid disorder during such ARTISTIC yet panic process.

haha you arent jking, are u?? Dont tell your name next time when you call, I'm afraid they might send your decision letter in the last if they get annoyed.
I'm not inpatient. Im just nervous. Do you think you will make it? transfer admission is really competitive.

naah I was being dramatic. I haven't called once, just emailed. I don't think it'll effect their process. And to answer your other question I'm really not sure. I didn't apply last year so I'm not sure how they work. I'm hoping my genuine interest in going there will help me out.

Well to enter my say into the fray -
a) It seems like Bard does not send the rejection letters first.
b) My interview went absolutely incredibly!
c) I received my "Waitlist" letter this morning.

Bard is still the only college that I really ever wish to attend - I've been working my way over the course of the last year in an interim school that is really, forever and truly the polar opposite of where I want to be. I applied to several other schools across the board, but Bard refuses to step down from the spotlight, enough so that if this doesn't turn around, I might face another year at where I am now. So as I'm shifting my feet into the lukewarm boat, any advice?

Yes I had an interview on campus. Silly me!! I put my home address on the application as well as my current mail address. But my family was moving a month ago! I called bard again to let them send the letter to my current mail address. And Yes, they wont send letters to ur school address.

Atlases, you still have a chance on the waitlist. Dont give up.
