yeah...I was just wondering how bard loves waitlisting ppl. Do they have a long waitlist of people or they actually tends to take people off waitlist(I mean accept people on the wl.)
And yes, bard transfer application is quite competitive. Bard requires people got admitted should reply back in two weeks. Since it's being almost 3 to 4 weeks after releasing the trasnfer decisions, I guess they prob have got the estimate of how many admitted people gonna attend for sure. Then they will start review us on the waitlist.

wut u mean he didnt seem surprised? like bard always waitlisting lots of people or something?

If you look on any thread on any college on this forum, you will see the phrase "_______ loves to waitlist people [insert any college name in the blank]".

elis.eliz: I have already double-checked and Bard received my deposit on Friday afternoon, so YES! I'm headed there come the fall. And of course I have facebook, haha.

fromaradio: The assumption as to whether or not the wait list is entirely ugly was based on my getting in, which, with my deposit in I still think is an extremely cruel joke. I must have emailed Greg close to every day since I confirmed my spot on the wait list - and while it seemed a bit much a times, I could see him sighing and a bit thankful that he'd never have to deal with me again in the post-acceptance communication. But really, from everything he said, the process takes absolutely forever, and it slowly goes down the line, because this is on a much smaller scale, and therefore a much more personal scale than general application. So, really, just be confident that you are going to get in! Hoping drives people insane, just know - and since it is the right place for you, I'll see you come Fall!

haha that is HILARIOUS that you say that. literally every time i go to email greg, i can picture him sitting at his computer thinking, "yo, sara...chill." i always expect to receive some exasperated reply because i know theyre super busy, but i just cant help it. seems like a good guy though.
