i've pretty much let go. i sent my deposit to SUNY Geneseo and i'm excited-ish, but when are we supposed to hear? i want to know. does it matter that a girl from my school is going there? a senior last year went too, and i know it's a pretty small place. do they only accept one girl from a school to mix it up?

Someone on the facebook group got off the waitlist...not sure what that means for you though. Hang in there!

There are two girls (including myself) going to barnard, and my class is about 70 students. I don't think they think "oh, well, we can't take her because we have another from the school..."

hello! i spoke with barnard admissions today and they still are unsure as to whether or not they will be needing to go to the waitlist (hashing out financial aid deals, etc.). the woman on the phone claims that we can expect to be notified as late as the end of june. if and when they decide to go to the waitlist, they will look over our application files and pick who they see as most fit.

trust me, this information is not exactly anything new. don't ask what i think any of what i am relaying means or for any proof, just take this post for what it is. this is what the admissions officer shared with me today.

that is quite disappointing news. i guess many female students are considering barnard to be their top school. so has anyone received any information?
