My sister is a senior at Barnard and I am about to submit my application. I did YWLI at Barnard in 2006. My sister, for the past four years, has never stopped telling everyone about how amazing the Barnard learning environment~she can have small classes where she knows her professors well and also gets the resources of the big university. Barnard girls in NYC have a reputation for being extremely strong, sophisticated, intelligent, and beautiful. It's anything BUT selling yourself short...the opportunities from Barnard are endless.

Barnard is one my top choices, I just pray now I can complete my application in time. I will be truly blessed if Barnard accepts me. It is a great school.

Thanks everyone for your responses!
I ended up applying and getting accepted to Columbia early decision - and I'm very enthusiastic about taking classes at Barnard and getting to know you all.
They're both great schools, and I'm thrilled that I'll (hopefully) get to experience each of them.
