Hi all,

I was wondering if and when anyone has heard from Barnard yet? And what were the decisions? In addition, I was hoping some students who have already gotten in could help me out. I received a letter from Barnard yesterday, and it got my hopes up because I thought it would tell me their decision. Instead, the envelope contained one piece of paper detailing my "tentative transfer credits" and said that they were still waiting for my final college transcript.

I'm not sure what to make of it? Do they send this out to all transfer applicants???

if you check out the board, there's already a thread on this. but it's okay, we can start a new one.

i still haven't heard either, but if you peruse the aforementioned thread, you'll see stats of girls who were both accepted and rejected. i don't think any of them received the letter you did, though. i think the fact that you received that letter is a good thing. provided your final transcript is good, you're probably in.

i applied to barnard as well, but i haven't received anything from them except a letter requesting more financial aid information from me.

i'm not expecting anything though.
