i read somewhere online that transfer students arent put together in dorms. my question is how is the transfer experience at barnard? are students friendly and what should i be expecting when i get there?
i wasn't a transfer, but i think that you have an orientation together. i also think that you are generally housed together in Elliot, but i don't know if that's mandatory like freshman housing in the Quad is.
My daughter had a sophomore transfer student in her apartment in the 600 building. Freshmen move in Aug 25, Transfers Aug 27 and returning students Aug 30.
