Too late?

I just started researching Bates, I know, a bit late, I'm from rural FL and I doubt there would be an alum in my area. I really like the environment and feel I should apply. Do you think I could be competitive without an interview and i probably won't send SAT's.

I was Deferred Wharton ED

Economics Major

I'm from rural FL, underperforming public high school~800ppl
3.9(uw) /4.75 (w) GPA

1800 SAT 1, Will Take January SAT (won't send to Bates)
SAT 2-Math 1-680 (won't send)
SAT 2-Literature-600 (won't send)

All honors classes at high school, no APs offered
Took one AP online along with 4 other classes to supplement
English Comp AP-3

Over 30 credits at Local community College, advanced math and business courses
All state Musician, 10 state titles, 2 all state band selections on saxophone
Tennis Team Captain (10-2 record)
All Heartland Tennis Team
Ebay Business
Founder of FBLA club at school
HOBY representatvie (one student selected from school to attend state leadership convention)

Would I be ok at Bates without an interview and SATs?

I would call and talk to the admissions office about your situation. That way, even if you can't get an interview, they will still know that you are interested. Without an interview, your chance of acceptance drops to around 13% and those are usually international students and people who come off the waitlist.

What would you suggest I say, I just became interested in your school and its too late for an interview? or should I ask for an interview even though its past the deadline?

Either sounds just fine, just make sure to give your name and make some kind of contact to show that you are interested.
