no - plus they've probably already made a decision. They have the $ to offer finaid - i don't think need is a huge factor for Bates, even in this economic "crisis." But ultimately, do what you feel you need to do - whatever that is, it's the right decision.

Bates (web site) says RD applicants will receive decisions in the mail no later than Tuesday 3/31.

So maybe they're being mailed out late the week of 3/23?

I just got an email...

Decisions will be emailed to people residing out side the U.S. on Friday, March 27.

I asked them. So, that email was the reply I was quoting.

I feel really depressed though, Got rejected from Gettysburg today. Bates seems almost impossible now.

lol. talha_adnan, even though you didn't send your SATs, what are your other stats? And don't worry about other college decisions. Colleges are really weird that way. My sister (we're twins) has applied to a bunch of schools, and some of the schools she's gotten into are total surprises because they were like reaches, but others she's been waitlisted at even though she was well qualified for them. It all depends on what the college is looking for. I'm sure everything'll work out =]

doubt it - after a while they'll probably just be eliminated/archived to make room for next year's admissions cycle.
