| Baylor Class of 2010!!!! It's so lonely here on the baylor forum. How about we get to know each other?
I'm from Mississippi. I'll be in the honors dorm. |

| Hey!
I'm freshman who will also be living in the Honors dorm next year as well (didn't live there this year, and am not yet ready for an apartment lol).
And can I just say how awesome it is you got PLME/Baylor2! Brown is one of the few schools I'm considering applying for as a transfer, but otherwise I don't think I'd want to leave. Med schools don't give too much leeway for prestigious schools, from what I've heard.
Let me know if you have any other questions. |

| Aw, thank you! I'm very excited about Baylor. Do you have any first-year advice that you think I should know before I get there? |

| I'm from California. I want to be in the honors dorm, but due to some problems, just turned in my housing app today. (Honors housing app was turned in two months ago). How hard is it to get into honors housing? |

| oh, never mind liumoo, you posted somewhere that you are a junior
BookAddict: I hope you get the honors dorm!!! I'm not sure how it works or if it's hard to get spots though. Which honors program are you? I'm just the regular honors program...was going to do Uni Scholars but decided not to. |

| I found out that I actually had turned in my housing app back in January, like I thought I did. It's just that there was a computer glitch, and it said I hadn't. So that's good.
I'm planning on doing the BIC. |

| You'll get sent the info through your email during the summer. It will contain room number, roomate, what to bring/not bring, etc.
At least, that's what happened with me. Luckily, current students get to apply for housing sooner, so I already picked a spot. Ironically, the roomate I will have currently lives two floors up in my hall lol. |

| I think some people find out housing ealier. It said for the honors dorms, they start notifying you mid May.
I never got confirmation that they received my honors housing online form, so I e-mailed them to make sure. They said they had. |

| whenwillitbeover,
Did you apply to Rice/Baylor? Can I apply to both Rice/Baylor2 and Baylor/Baylor2?
My stats:
SAT: 2310 (750/770/790), Will take Math2C and Chem next month. Take all possible advance classes available. Rank 1/650, two school club presidents. Summer activities, community servies, no outside school awards.
Do I have a chance to get an interview for Baylor/Baylor2? Can you post your stats or you can email me? |

| I was accepted into Baylor University and the Honor's College, but I rejected my acceptance...I don't know, I had a feeling that Baylor didn't suit me.
What did you guys see in Baylor? |

| You mean besides the full tuition scholarship?
It's a good distance from my home (far, but halfway instead of all the way across the country.) There are a good number of students (not too big, not too small). It's Christian, but not everyone is a Christian. And I liked it when I visited it.
Those are the biggest reasons, though there are more. |
