Dorm recommendations (Male)

Since Baylor has made the new policy about staying in the dorms your first year, what dorms would everyone recommend?

Gordo....

Basically, unless you are doing honors (which is Alexander Hall), you have three dorm choices (Penland, Martin, Brooks). For the best overall freshman experience, I recommend Penland.

Penland is where the "fun and hip" people stay.

Brooks is where the "Laid Back" type of person stays.

Martin is a mix of the two.

I should add that the reason I rec. Penland is because it also houses the most freshmen, and thus increases the chances of meeting more guys. Martin is a completely freshman dorm as well, but it is smaller, without a food court, and just boring. I would recommend Martin only if you enjoy a "quiet" atmosphere. I would never recommend Brooks to anyone. The worst thing about Brooks is that only a small percentage of the dorm is for freshmen. Upper classmen make up the majority of Brooks. Also the rooms are smaller. I hope that helped. BTW- Where are you from?
