How Challening Academically?

I am interested in Baylor because of the Christian environment on campus. I am also very interested in academics. Would Baylor be a good fit for me or are the academics not very challenging? Also, I was wondering about Waco and what the students think about the town.

I think the academics can be very challenging, if you take the right classes. I'm being challenged, as I'm in one of their three honors programs and am choosing to take difficult classes.

I was a straight A student in high school (and before), and got my first two B+'s last semester (my freshman year). Grades aren't a measure of challenge, but it does tell you something.

I can't compare the academics at Baylor to those at other schools, but I think that if you don't purposely choose easy classes and if you're in the honors program, you will find it challenging enough.

Waco's alright. It's got everything you need, including entertainment. And if you want things you can only find in big cities, Dallas, Houston, and Austin are all only about 2 hours away.
