class of 2012

We just visited for my D who is a jr. Beloit has replaced Grinnell as her top choice. The weather was miserable, but the reception she had on campus was wonderful. She sat in on a political economics class and a music theory class. We had a long conversation with Bill Conover who is the campus spiritual life director and 4 students who are active with their spiritual life (different religious backgrounds). We stopped in at Interfaith House. My D has been bubbling more than any other school we have visited e.g. Allegheny, Kenyon, Denison so on). She even bought a Beloit hooded sweatshirt. Not done that at Grinnell or Juniata or Wooster which are also on her list.

Carolyn, some comments you sent me last fall were very helpful for my wife in getting a feel for the place.

Oh, Deloar, I am SO happy to hear this news. Hope we will have a chance to meet at some point, perhaps over parents weekend.
