What do you like most/least about Beloit?

My favorite thing--when I visited--was a tie between the theater and the financial aid

My least favorite feature were the dorms that were built in the 60's; they seemed like dark and desolate dungeons.

How about you? What do you like most/least about Beloit?

It's a short drive from Chicago.

I really like the dorms. I am typing this from my air conditioned dorm that is over twice the size of my friends state school dorm room. My bed here is more comfy then my bed at home. Most people are happy with their dorm. I haven't heard any real complaints. I brought a couple of lights with me which really brighten the place up.

Favorite thing: The people by far. Everyone is interesting, open and intelligent. I have met people here that have turned down Bowdoin, Wesleyan, Grinnell, Carleton and Macalester to come here (I'm not kidding, I was surprised when I heard, I know people who were accpected to all of those schools). Partly I think it is due to the fantastic merit aid, but also it shows people really want to be at Beloit. I have not heard anyone say that they aren't happy yet. All i have to do is walk outside and there is something going on, whether it is ultimate frisbee, speakers or just socializing. Anyway, the people at beloit are the most diverse and interesting group I have ever met.

Least Like: This is tough. I really feel at this point find it hard to point out any major faults. I know it sounds dumb but I seriously can't find any big downside. I mean there are tiny things but they don't really ever matter.

hope that helps
