A friend of mine visted Beloit and said the dorms were dirty as *ell and said that's the reason she's not going to apply.

Honestly undergraduates, is it true that the dorms are dirty or less stellar compared to other dorms.

No, compared to other LACs in the midwest I visited they were average. They were actually nice compared to some. While they aren't the fancy eye candy that super rich colleges have, they are definitely not dirty. Beloit keeps their dorms up and clean, but decides to put its money to better uses then making their dorms 5 star hotels. Most of the dorms have been recently renovated or may be renovated soon.

they're definitely not dirty. when i visited, i thought they were the nicest and cleanest of all the dorms i had seen. i don't know what your friend is expecting, i mean, it IS college.
