My daughter received an email from Bennington admissions to schedule a phone interview. This is the first time she's received such a request. Of course, because of the long-distance, an onsite interview is difficult for her since we live in California.

But was wondering if this is a standard part of Bennington's admissions process? Is this a good sign for her chances on being accepted?

Having a phone interview is very a very common process for Bennington. I would take it as a pretty good sign.

irvinemom, my California son also was invited for a phone interview last year. He was ultimately accepted and so far loves Bennington. He completed his Field Work at a theater in Chicago and is starting his second semester.
