Berea is a Christian college that gives tuition scholarships to every admitted student.

Berea College has been ranked as the #1 regional liberal arts college in the South nine times by US News and World Report. In 2003-04, Berea again claimed the top spot as the #1 Comprehensive College in the South for a bachelor's degree.
