im enrolled in chem1a and english r1a
and i want to take math 1a,
but the only math1a open is at the same time as
english. so i only have 8 units enrolled, and
i waitlisted the other math1a class.

what should i do?
i heard math classes are flexible, does that mean i can get into
my waitlisted math1a?
should i try to get enough units by adding more classes?
should i drop my english r1a and choose another class?

i wanted to add anthro2ac, but the only open one was at the same slot as chem and english

help plz!

btw i also have a seminar and a PE class waitlisted but those dont really matter

Well...it looks like you can add another class so you can have the min. units. But still stay on the waitlist for math. It shouldnt be too hard to get into the class. I heard they try to get a lot of ppl in off the waitlist. What number are you in your section? You shouldnt sign up for anthro cause you would have to drop english and chem. You dont want to lose your english spot. Those classes fill up pretty fast. What major are you?

The Math Department has said it will accomodate those students who want to take Math 1A, 1B, 16A, and 16B. Don't worry too much about it.

Remember that there is the 13 units minimum for an L&S student.
