| There isn't really a Class of 2011 until March 29th, but okay, whatever floats your boat moderators/admins. |

| I guess so.... I've seen that UCLA has sent out decisions (at least that's what some have reported on this site) - when does Berkeley send them out? |

| actually, UCLA is. Cal's Admission notification is March 29th and UCLA's is on April 1st. UCLA changed theirs to a later date because of the new holistic admissions process. |

| oh no so we have to wait till then? None are done earlier. How do you all do this?
Do they just post or send an email. My daughter got invited to a science deal in March but it said right away that this did not mean that she was in blah blah blah.....We are wondering if we should go or not? any views? |

| The University will allow you to check admissions decissions online (usually its the day before they say it is...well thats how it was the last two years). About a week later, a letter will arrive via USPS.
THe visit to Science is just like a giant advertisement for the university.
I would suggest going if you, well, more importantly, your student, are not familiar with the campus because a lot of the decision should be based on how a student feels on the campus.
Be sure to go up the Campanille (2$ a person, but pretty amazing). I suggest spending some time on Sproul and just walking around to look at the architecture a buildings. |
