Got in! But what major am I?

Hey all,

Congrats on everyone that also got into Cal's Class of 2012. Wahoo!

I just have a question for anyone that knows the answer or can help me. I want to know why my CARS information says I am an Undeclared major. I certainly swear I did declare a major when I applied to Berkeley. Where can I find the major that I have been accepted to?

A huge reason of why I applied for Berkeley was because of its CS program in the College of L&S. Therefore, I find it strange that I got into Berkeley, but no confirmation has been made yet about computers.

Could it be that everyone who gets in for L&S is listed as Undeclared? Anyone else ever been in a situation like this? Please help!

Yes, that is how it is. Relax. You take the prerequisites and then declare a major. CS isn't even impacted, you'll have no trouble being a CS major.

Haha, thank you! You said almost exactly what my teacher said. Apparently, I was freaking out for no reason.
