How hard is Math 1B?

Seriously, how hard is 1b?

I'll major in astrophysics, and considering that I only did AP calc AB, there's no skipping both 1a and 1b for me. So its either retake 1a and keep 1b for spring, or skip 1a completely and start 1b-ing in fall. I'm not that sure with my calc skills, I had no calc for like 2 years and self-study the AP test for 2 months.. Any suggestions?

depends on one's definition of "hard"
i think you should follow cal's suggestions
if you passed with a 3 on ab, retake 1a
but if you passed with a 5 on ab, go to 1b
& only if you got a 5 on BC, skip both
