would it be wise to take chemistry classes in the summer at UCB? I had a sudden change of mind to go onto the nursing path, so i need to get my biological sciences in. (I would have taken chemistry earlier if i made up my mind earlier.) Would the competition be just as fierce in the summer ? or worse? advice?

Probably easier from what I've heard. They expect you to know less, and there are going to be less students so you get more personal attention. Plus, the strongest people taking it tend to do so in the fall.
