which dorms are harder to get into, foothill or stern? Also, theme houses...

which dorms are harder to get into, foothill or stern? Also, do freshmen ever get singles? Ever? Or should I not even choose a single on one of the 5 drop down selections?

Also - if anybody knows - how are the theme house programs? I'm thinking about applying to the global environment theme house, and the woman in science and engineering theme house... do they provide good experiences?

Thanks
