Not sure, but I went on a Unit 1 campus tour during Cal Day. They had this tiny kitchen on the first floor near the entrance in one of the non-suite buildings. Good for reheating leftovers, bad for cooking.

Although from what I understand after reading all the Residence hall information while filling out my forms, the only way suites are different from regular rooms is that they have a 'personal' bathroom.

u want to bake? no problem. ground floor there will be a kitchen for u to bake, cook, reheat, etc. the stoves are not good for cooking though, as they are electric
