I think there are only 3 EE classes required, two basic ones on circuits and one on technical writing.
I'm thinking of switching into EECS from CS just because I can't find another major I like, and a EECS degree is pretty pure CS as it is.

@fifi
I hope you are right, because I am in AP Physics B this year (I wish my school offered physics C), and I don't know if it is just because I have a terrible teacher (which I do), but this is by far the hardest class I have ever taken, and frankly I am not enjoying it at all.

oh jeez.
Well, honestly, if it's the material...
SWITCH OUT! I can't stress this enough.
But if you have a terrible teacher, which is likely, don't worry, we'll plunge through the problem sets together :]

I think you are right. I'll just blame the teacher! lol
I look forward to doing those problem sets together. |

I'm guessing a couple hundred get in and attend.
Plus the L&S CS kids added makes it a lot.
We're not alone!

I seriously couldn't believe that I had gotten in. I literally laughed when I saw it. My mom was over my shoulder freaking out, she didn't believe that I got in, haha. I'm in L&S, and hopefully majoring in Neuroscience .
Congrats everyone!

Hey neuroscience people. I am doing CS and I am interested in programming brain-implants. Maybe we can work together some day. :P

about engineering...I'm admitted as an EECS major, but I want to switch to mechanical. when we sign up for classes, will I be able to take ME classes like E 10 or E 7?
also, are the labs in ME very good (compared to Stanford's, perhaps)? are there any hands-on labs?
