| EA Notification times? Hey,
I was curious if anyone who applied EA to BC last year could remember when their letters came, also, I was curious if their was any sort of online system, if they sent you an email or anything, and if that came before the letter, when, thanks!

| I was accepted EA last year, and my letter came around Dec. 14th I think. It's a big envelope, and if you were accepted to the Honors Program, there will be an extra folder and letter in your regular acceptance packet notifying you. There was no notification by e-mail or phone call, only by regualr mail. Good luck! |

| I believe that they said we would be notified by Christmas. It might have been the 24th, but I know it wasn't the 15th like most schools because I remember thought I was going to have to wait at least a week more than my friends who had applied EA/ED other places. |

| D applied last year. I can't remember when BC said that she would hear from them, but I know that we got the letter on Dec. 13. We live in California, and the letter was dated the 11th. For some reason, I remember not being too surprised that it came on that date. Either the timeline indicated that we would hear about that time, or maybe we had seen other postings on CC and so were forewarned. Good luck. |

| I'm really freaking out. Does anyone konw what my chances of getting in if i have a 3.7 Cumulative GPA, attended Yale UNiversity over the summer, have 1750 on the new SAT, and have full IB ( its like all AP courses in the US) |

| course load sounds good but that SAT score sounds a little low, you gotta figure that EA applicants will be having 2000-2100+ scores, or about 100 pts higher than the average RD applicant. you never know tho. |

| I have to say I am VERY nervous. I am pulling a 3.93 with a 1990 SAT and a tough courseload, but the amazing applicants I've seen on this board are really humbling me to the point of inferiority. I am expecting a deferral at this point, but hopefully I catch a break.
Good luck to all in the coming 2 weeks. |

| What's the deal with PSP invites? Do they come with the regular decision letter or after? Do you guys think you'd need a 2200+ to be considered for that or would they also take someone with slightly lower stats yet an interesting background? |

| In response to PSP questions -
Last year the letters did not come with admissions packets; they came separately a week or so later I believe (I didn't get one, so I'm not 100% sure, but I know they were separate). I think it's a more subjective evaluation than "we're only going to look at applicants with a 2200+"...but then with such a huge and distinguished applicant pool, BC could probably find enough people with 2200+ and interesting backgrounds. You never know, you'll just have to wait it out. Good luck! |
