Does BC "superscore" the ACT and SAT? Also, if I decide to take the ACT on Dec. 8th, that will be acceptable for their reg. dec. deadline, right? thanks
- Probably not. The latest, I was told, would be November. It takes a really long time to process all those scores. BC just changed into a new paperless system this year that's supposed to make things go faster, but this is the first year so Lord knows who well it'll work.
The BC website clearly states that all standardized testing must be completed by the DEC test date of the senior year so that test scores are received by the Jan. 1 RD deadline.
SO yes, the Dec. 8 ACT test will be accepted -- as long as you have the scores sent directly to BC (which you can request when you register).
ok, thanks, i just saw that. but if i wanted to wait and see what i got before sending them, they wouldn't make it there in time? i'm kinda in a dilemma bc my test date was canceled due to the fires out here, and they said i could take it for free this weekend, but i won't be home until 1 am bc i have something i have to attend the night before. so therefore, i have to take it dec. 8th.
I spoke with admissions directly about superscoring the ACT and was told that yes, they do take the best score from each section regardless of testing date.
