Economics- A&S or CSOM

I'm applying to boston college and I have csom's econ major listed as my first choice on my app. I've realized though that i don't really want business management/core classes that are required in csom. I plan on going to graduate school in econ, and after reading further about bc, i'm wondering if i should change to the econ major in a&s.
So, what are your thoughts on these two majors and which is best for my needs? thanks ahead for any replies

I'm not majoring in Econ, but I've heard from my friends that the Econ major is actually through A&S not CSOM. Econ is a strong major at BC and seems well respected. They have been talking about studying in London in Econ for Junior year, sounds fun.

Im pretty sure that the econ major is only for A&S, but csom students have to take the course. I mean, if you really don't wish to take the business core, by all means switch to the a&s college.
