Getting Off The Waitlist

Does anybody have any statistics for those who got off the waitlist in the previos years? It seems like a large number of internationals were waitlisted this year. Could this year be any unusual?

Getting off the waitlist is a possibility...but it is very hard to do so.

I don't have the stats, but two of three relatives that I know applied to BC got waitlisted and then got in, so there is hope.

It's especially tough because BC specifically says that they will only consider new grades for those who have been waitlisted. About the statistics, I think my letter said something like the usual amount of people who get off is 40-50 out of over 600...

I'm not international by the way.

There is so much uncertainty this year due to financial concerns, that spots may open up for the fall that in previous years did not. Keep the faith!
