Orientation For Class Of 2012

Did any CC parents or students attend the first orientation session at BC? If so, what did you think of it?

And what did BC choose as the book for this year's "Conversations in the First Year" convocation? I was impressed to hear of the past choices: Barak Obama, John McCain, and Jeanette Walls (author of "The Glass Castle").

I went; it was great. Lots of fun activities and talks, and plenty of food

The book they chose for this year is "The Tender Bar" (The Tender Bar, a memoir by J.R. Moehringer)
I started reading it, and I like it so far

it says 'on the hunt for excellence', i think. its in my room but my brother's sleeping there, dont wanna wake him up. im pretty sure that's what it is.
