Chances?

Hey guys! I was just wondering if I had a chance to get in in BC!
I'm a junior
Class rank as of completed sophmore year: 16/647
GPA: 5.2870

Freshman year- English H, Biology H, Geography H, Geometry H, Spanish I on-level (not offered honors), Theatre I, Speech and Health

Sophmore year- English II H, Chemistry H, World History H, Algebra II H, Spanish II Honors, Theatre II, BCIS (technology credit)

Junior year- English III H, Physics H, AP US History, PreCal on level, Spanish III Honors, Pysch AP, Cosmetology, Teacher's Aid

Senior year- ?

I was also in StuCo freshman year and currently in Spanish Honors Society and National Honors Society. I enjoy cooking and trying new foods, acting, writing, making movies, hanging out with friends, going to new places, and trying to implement anything vintage in my life (clothes, music, etc). I also dance 5/7 days (20+ hours a week) in a ballet company.

Thanks for helping me out!

Dear leapingmnky1987 : As a junior, your profile appears to be on the right trajectory. Let's put these points out for you to consider :

[1] Consider that your board scores need to be 2000+ (SAT three way) and 30+ (ACT) to create a level of comfort in your application process. Be sure to begin studying for both of those exams.

[2] What leadership positions can you assume over the next 12 months in your high school to show you can shape the direction of your class?

[3] Is there any way to tie your dance into something more in your profile to make this shine as a true "sports" activity for you? Describe the competitive nature and artistic value in your ballet.

[4] Enjoying "cooking" is interesting and unusual at your age. Uniqueness can be a selling factor in an application. What else do you have that is unique?

[5] Be sure to stretch yourself to continue studying at the top levels available in your High School including AP courses.

Again, you still have time to craft major addition elements on your profile. Enjoy your junior and senior years! Good luck!
