you know....I've been emailing them because its reported that some of my materials haven't arrived, which I have sent months ago...so I'm kind of worried. Should I assume they are still processing, or perhaps call the school directly?

Broadwaybelter:

I called the school on Dec. 1st (their application/material deadline date) to ask what was still missing from my application and they told me then that they had baskets and baskets full of mail and that they were only just starting processing now. The guy I talked to said that this process will take a while and that they will begin emailing people, if they are missing materials, in late January. The guy was really nice and gave me the impression that if there would be a mailing snafu and something you sent in didn't arrive, that they will tell you and you can resend it without a problem. I'm still missing a transcript and a recommendation from my application so I'm hoping that they have it, but haven't gotten to that "basket".

Anyways don't stress, they will let you know and it won't have any effect on your admission if you need to resend something.

I had a similar response when I called in December, that they would be taking a long time to get through to all the mail. Like BreakIntoSong said, try not to stress about it, but do keep checking every once in a while to make sure that if anything does need to get resent, it does! I would definitely call the school, if you are calm and friendly to them, they will be more than happy to help you, at least in my experience!

I got an e-mail today with a link which led to the status of my D's application. Hers was complete (thank goodness!). You should be receiving one also I would think.
