I'm really desperate to go to BU, I would have applied ED, but I didn't want to get bound into a situation where I'd have to pay 45,000 per year. I'm planning on e-mailing the admissions officer in my area, but if anyone could help me, I'd really appreciate it.

GPA: 3.62
Courses: All honors and 7 AP's including Senior Year.
AP Scores: AP Euro: 3, AP US: 5, AP Calc AB: 5 (My Euro teacher was horrible).
Class Rank (don't know number): Top 10%
SAT: 2170 (770 V, 690 W, 710 M)
SAT II: 760 US History, 710 World History, 690 Literature, 640 Math I (embarrassingly on the last 2).

I'm also a National Merit Semifinalist (I'm almost positive that I'll be a finalist).

Robotics - My main hook, I program for a team that can take up to 25 hours a week, team has won lots of awards.

NHS - Self explanatory.

I also write for a hockey site that's the 3rd most read one on the Web (Spectors Hockey).

My extra-curriculars are really my weak point, robotics has taken up most of my time. I know they have that 1/2 tuition scholarship for Merit Finalists (and I did put BU as my first choice), but I don't know how good of a shot I have for it.

I'm really desperate to go here, any help is greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I finished 2nd in an American Revolutionary Period History Bee (I won $1500 too). History is definitely my strong point.
