Best and Worst of BU

What do the current BU students here consider to be the best and worst aspects of BU?

Best: Boston, awesome classes & professors, great reputation with employers

Worst: really competitive, easy to get lost in the shuffle

I don't know about Chrisso620, but of the 8 classes I've taken so far, I have yet to have a professor I truly dislike. Some of the classes can get a little boring at times (but what class doesn't), but my professors have all been approachable, understanding, ridiculously knowledgeable, and interesting. I don't really want to post names on here, though.

I agree. Even topics I didn't think I'd like, I ended up being really interested in because of the professors. And being able to talk to them in their office hours is awesome because you can ask them exactly what you want to know, and they, at least for me, have ALWAYS been extremely helpful.

bf06: it depends on what school you're in and what classes you're taking, but you can PM me and I'll give you more info if you want.

Best: Faculty is great, friendly student body in CFA, Boston location, some challenging classes, independent urban lifestyle, my financial aid package

Worst: Annoying student bodies in some divisions of the univ., minimal intellectual interaction/cross-registration opportunities in other divisions of the univ., massive and massively inefficient administration, too many classes taught by TA's of questionable competence, classes on the whole too large.
