The Freshman Record

So what is with this "freshman record" stuff they sent me?? Do people actually do it and buy one or is it one more way to charge us for something?? And is it helpful since it seems a bit like facebook except it's going to cost me 15 bucks.

It is basically a cheap "yearbook" type thing that only contains mugshots of those students who pay for the books, so not everyone will be in there, and yes, facebook is all you need to get by. This past year, they said that we would get them at Splash, but they were delayed for like a month and we got them in the mail; by that time, they were no use. I looked at it once and tossed it under my bed.
