Chance an OOS Transfer?

Hey there,

My husband and I may be moving up into the Boston area soon for a job opportunity. I'm currently taking CC courses and was intending on transferring to a Texas school in the Fall of 2010, but if we move up there I would like to look at what BU has to offer. My intended major would be Geography & The Environment (specifically human geography) in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Here are my most current stats.

GPA: 4.0
ECs: Member of Phi Theta Kappa; elected Director of Communications for student government (before that I was a senator), and thanks to SGA, numerous committees including one where I've worked with the mayor on city issues affecting local schools; member of my school's honors program
Volunteer work: Salvation Army, my city's respite care center for children with disabilities, Autism Awareness chapter
Other stuff: First generation student; dyslexic (which I've managed to overcome and handle on my own).

I will probably take a spring '10 semester at a CC up in MA as well. After the fall semester I will have about 40 credits or so.

Thanks for reading and any advice is greatly appreciated.
