Easy Class?

Story is, my transfer credits are having me suffer from credit deficiency in the general education requirements (for engineering) and I need an extra course within any of the social sciences, humanities, and general elective courses to finish it off. Any suggestions? The only reason I ask is because someone on this board (I believe AliAngel) suggested AR100 with Professor Saturno, which has turned out SOOOOO awesome for me.

I have been thinking about SMG SI 480 (The Business of Technological Innovation)- which seems like a fun course, but ratemyprofessor.com has no information on that teacher. Nor does it have information on a lot of my teachers for that matter V_V....

I ask for an easy/fun course because I will be taking some really challenging courses next semester, and with 18 credits (including this one)- I don't know if I can pull it off >_<. Thanks for anyone who can help (I realize there are a lot of prospective frosh right now who might need more help than I do)

haha yes i did suggest ar 100. 2 other easy courses are ps243 with grant and ps 251 with shim (both have no discussions). however, the one with shim is like a comedy class and he is hysterical so you'd have way more fun with that one. both only test on their lecture notes so you don't need the book either.

Oh darn - I would love to take those classes but I don't have PS 101 (since that is a prerequisite) =(. Would have loved to take Psychology and Learning

I'm not sure if you want to / can take such a high level SMG class.

Isn't SI a strategy course? If you want to find teacher info for SMG courses, smgnet (again, I'm not sure if non-SMG students can get on, you can ask a friend in SMG or I can even do it for you and post it here lol) offers even more teacher ratings through the SMG teacher evaluation system. I wasn't even aware students not in SMG could take classes in SMG w/o SM299?

Easy classes: CFA AR180 (Graphic Design) - I took this sophomore year, spring. It was really the easiest A I've gotten in my life lol, 3 hours a week, no homework ever, basically you draw circles on a screen during class and work on your own project.

Heard a science class called Beaches and Shores (where you really just learn about beaches and shores) is pretty easy too.

well ps 101 was fun too if you take it with shim, grant, or a couple other professors.

Yea - I went with PS 101 since I hear thats not bad

The SMG course is directly related to engineering and its a new course. I don't know how high a level it is, but it was on the engineering web page - but you need approval. Looked fun - but has an absurdly bad timing (Fridays from 12-3) which is kind of hard to schedule in.

Adding to my thread - I have another question. I kinda got screwed over for registration because 1. I am a freshman and 2. I have a last BU ID digit ending in 9 >_<. So I go dead last out of everyone.

Will I be able to get all of my classes? Disregarding the fact that two classes I take have a required lab (which makes things REALLY hard to plan for - Physics and Chem II), in total I am taking 18 credit hours. Any suggestions on what I should do if there are scheduling conflicts? It was hard preplanning on the classes that already exist..

go to your professors personally and, especially for large lectures, most of them will sign you in. u have to get a form from the registrar's office, fill out the info, have the prof sign and return the form.
