Gay Community at Bowdoin?

I was wondering what the gay community at Bowdoin is like.

In particular, how accepted is the gay population on campus?

Exactly how big is the gay population?

Hey,

I just graduated from Bowdoin this year, and I couldn't be more excited about the direction that the gay community there is taking. In just four years, from the time I came out during the fall of my freshman year up to today, the level of acceptance, activity, and actual number of glbtq students has sky rocketed.

Bowdoin is not oberlin or wesleyan, but queer life is getting to be pretty interesting up here in Brunswick. You will definitely not be alone and you will have a lot of opportunities to get involved and expand the community and its reach on campus.
