Do you know what dorm (which brick) you're in? Any thoughts or opinions about one vs. another? I know they are all nice compared to other colleges -- just wondering about the similarities and/or differences of one to another. And if you are in a quint -- how is the decision made about who groups up in the "two" bed vs. the "three" bed room in the quint? Rock, paper, scissors on Facebook?
I'm in the first floor of Coleman aka the run-off of the chem-free Hyde dorm. I'm wondering what effect it will be like living in a half-and-half dorm.
I'm doing the community service trip. It wasn't one of my top five choices but what ever. It's fun to pretend to be all self ritous with people and be like, "What? You're NOT aiding rural Maine communities for your Pre-O? Tisk Tisk Tisk!" Lol.
Just to clarify, the historic term for Muslim inhabitants of Spain and North Africa was Moors (note: no e). I suppose the term could be used in a "racist" way that just denotes a total lack of understanding about what it means, but regardless, your dorm is just fine.
